In 2010, Crime stoppers of Puget Sound partnered with Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County, Seattle University's Executive Leadership Program and the Washington State Attorney General's Office to increase awareness about crimes against senior citizens.  Senior citizens are highly vulnerable to financial fraud and scams, identity theft, physical abuse and neglect, and these crimes often go unreported in fear of retaliation by the suspect or embarrassment by the victim.
